The College has a long history of innovation in education. Our unique mini-school structure is one example of innovative practice that brings enormous benefits to our students in their academic and social education.
Another impressive feature of our College is the comprehensive range of educational pathways that the college provides. Alongside the excellent range of subjects offered in VCE we offer Vocational and Educational Training (VET) subjects. The College also offers the Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) which leads to TAFE courses, apprenticeships, traineeships and employment.
Our VCE students continue to gain excellent results and over the past years have achieved a higher proportion of scores over 40 than most other government schools in the Knox, Maroondah and Dandenong Ranges area. Of last year’s VCE students, 90% of those who applied for tertiary places received first round offers, with Science, Business and Commerce and the Arts the most popular choices of study.
